- DON’T INTERRUPT ANY SPEAKER! especially in this tone.
- Switch off your phone and even keep it in a separate room if you find yourself checking it severally while working on some serious stuff. It is a distraction.
- Take off your sunglasses while talking to a stranger, it is a sign of respect and eye contact saves a lot memory about the person.
- Don’t sacrifice innovation for productivity.Capture your team’s best ideas.
- Take time to decompress instead of jumping into another task if you finish your meeting early.
- Time-block your calendar and instate the <5 mins rule(in case you dint know it, the <5 mins rule simply means if a new task comes in that you somehow see and know it will take you less 5 mins to complete it, do it on the spot because it will save your to-do list from adding up).
- I am implementing most of the life hacks I read online and it helps maximize the benefits of the cloud saving me time and headaches.( I will do a list of the life hacks soon)
- You come off as more sagacious when you broaden your vocabulary.
- If your friend does you a favor, you owe them. ie if they cover your bill now you pay next time.
- You shouldn’t ever be satisfied by someones complement. Ask if there is anything about you that concerns them or if they have a suggestion, that way you will know the truth.
- I create time for informal meetings. I mean, spend time with people who will allow you to be you and laugh like an idiot.It is stress relieving and self rewarding.
- Being angry is a waste of time, show restraint in expressing anger, no matter what.
- I have a lot of questions with very few answers.
- Proper grammar is necessary if you want to go far, foul language is for your family and close friends just like you should mean what you say and say what you mean if you want to be “someone”
- Avoid placing your phone on the dinner table doesn’t matter what meal and/or where.
- Work hard for the things you want and need. There are no handouts out here.
- Never ever be provoked into doing something that you don’t want to do, you end up the stupid one and they are likely to win.
- Treat every single person even those that you don’t know as very important not because you don’t know of tomorrow but because actually everyone is so important in life.
- Family comes first but don’t be too blind to see when you or they go wrong and stand by something that won’t be compromised even by them.
- Investing in yourself is the greatest achievement with best return on investment.
- Eat healthy, workout daily, stay focused no matter the situations, give your best and always help others whenever you can.
I have just noticed even numbers don’t work for me but I’ll stick to the #20 things just skip one (winks).
